Several months ago, through our partnership with United Way, our WAC Grant Writers applied for funding to purchase a refrigerated truck. Unfortunately we did not receive the full amount and have a short deadline to secure additional funding.

Through inter-agency partnerships and the generosity of local grocers we are able  to serve around 900 families per month from Woodland, Kalama, Amboy, Cougar, Ariel and La Center and distribute an astonishing 90,000 lbs of food.  A refrigerated truck would help to keep this food at it's freshest during transport as well as allow us the ability to acquire food from further away.
